This portfolio features a collection of projects I designed during my time at California Baptist University, highlighting a mix of creative thinking, technical skills, and hands-on design work that led to some truly meaningful and memorable results.

Located in the heart of Chicago’s vibrant Prairie District, I had the chance to design a dynamic five-story live-work complex that brought together a makerspace business with a mix of thoughtfully planned apartments; from cozy one-bedrooms to spacious three-bedroom units. This project gave me a great opportunity to dive into the details of escape routes, plumbing layouts, and the overall flow of both private and shared spaces. It was a valuable experience that not only strengthened my technical skills but also deepened my passion for designing functional, community-focused environments that support modern living.

Set in a park in Riverside, California, I was assigned to design a forward-thinking S.T.E.A.M. elementary school that aimed to be both a center for learning and a hub for community connection. This project allowed me to explore advanced design strategies, including integrated water systems, structural planning, and solar panel installations. With a strong focus on sustainability, I carefully calculated the site's energy use intensity to help ensure the school would be efficient and eco-friendly; ultimately supporting the city's clean energy goals in a meaningful way.

I was assigned a project for California Baptist University in Riverside, designing a portable, flexible event space for the campus. Partnering with a colleague, I focused on creating adaptable seating and performance areas that could easily adjust to different event sizes and setups. The result was a fully buildable design that brings energy and versatility to campus gatherings. Using Lumion, I created renderings that not only highlighted the project's flexibility but also clearly demonstrated how it could be assembled and used. The design was all about being practical, easy to set up, and visually engaging; making it a great fit for a dynamic campus environment.
